Easily accessible from the centre of Selkirk, Haining Loch is the scenic jewel in the town’s crown, encircled by a good path. In amongst the mixed woodland there are some good views across the water to The Haining itself: a Palladian mansion once owned by the Pringle family but now managed by a charitable trust.
