The Tayside Police Museum occupies the ground floor of Kirriemuir Police Station. Although Kirriemuir is only a little town, the museum covers the history of policing across a much larger area (spanning Dundee, Angus, Perth & Kinross) from the early 1800s to late 1900s. We were given an interesting, in-depth tour including crime and punishment (obviously), weaponry, uniform, police pipe bands and more, with displays spread across several small rooms.
