This smaller, family-friendly zoo is located within a countryside campus of Northumberland College, which runs the show. There are over 200, mostly small, species ranging from wallabies, meerkats and armadillos to tortoises, iguanas and several bird species – more than enough to occupy children and adults alike for an hour or two.
