📌 Nessie attraction in Drumnadrochit, Highland
★★

The village of Drumnadrochit on the west bank of Loch Ness has evolved to become the main centre for Nessie enthusiasts. A couple of Nessie-related attractions have sprung up accordingly; this one, Nessieland, is disappointing in our opinion, and we much prefer the nearby Loch Ness Centre. A series of “caves” outline the Loch Ness Monster story; the exhibition seems to be trying to appeal both to adults and children, but in reality, doesn’t really do either. The enormous monster sculpture outside the front entrance is about as good as it gets.
