πŸ“Œ Strath More, Highland
β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…

One of northwest Scotland’s real hidden gems lies tucked away on the hillside above Dun Dornaigil Broch. A silvery plume of Ben Hope‘s finest runoff water drops 30 metres towards Strathmore, with several smaller cascades below. The very top of the main waterfall is just visible from the roadside, but the full height is concealed by a heathery shoulder; climb the pathless hillside to reveal the rest.

πŸ’¬ From the roadside it’s a 15-min walk (each way) east & steeply uphill to the foot of the main waterfall on pathless heather / grass, keeping well to the northwest side of the burn at first (⬀⬀ Moderate to Tough). Alternatively, the southeast side of the burn has a track to follow, but views from this side are much less rewarding.
