Brora Heritage Centre

This new incarnation of Brora’s museum opened in 2025, replacing an interesting but rather dated heritage centre a little way inland above the River Brora. The museum is (now) a mile north of the village centre and railway station, but remains accessible by bus and is also within walking distance of Clynelish Distillery. Topics covered are similar to the previous museum (industries including coal, salt and brickmaking, famous local people, Brora Rangers F.C. and Brora’s place within the natural landscape), but are presented much more smartly and neatly; the admission fee has increased accordingly.
