📌 Trotternish, Isle of Skye
★★★★

Rubha nam Brathairean (Brothers’ Point) is the easternmost part of Skye’s Trotternish peninsula, once thought to be home to a monastic community which gave this headland its name. Reaching the rocky tip involves scaling the steep-sided stump of Dùn Hasan (also an ancient fort), with a couple of airy spots that may be best avoided when the ground is slippery or the wind is blowing hard. The route up to this point is worthwhile in itself however, taking in a lovely pebble beach, majestic cliffs and views towards Wester Ross.
