With Torridon to the east, Applecross to the south, Skye to the west and Gairloch to the north, the low-lying headland of Red Point has impressive neighbours at each compass point. All of them appear in the impressive views from a stroll along the coast here, which also features two beautiful sandy beaches well worth lingering at. A straightforward inland track completes the circuit.

Wildlife: Cows, calves, sheep & lambs, not separated from route by any walls or fences. Shags, seagulls, oystercatchers, sandpipers. A pine marten seen on the approach road.
Weather: Mix of sunshine & cloud sheets, 16Β°C with a light breeze.
