๐Ÿ“Œ Nethy Bridge, Highland
โ˜…โ˜…

Nethy Bridge is known as The Forest Village; situated on the north side of the vast Abernethy Forest, it once boasted several sawmills. Nowadays the main industry is tourism, with the Speyside Way passing through the centre in addition to an excellent network of waymarked trails. This short circuit meanders along the bank of the River Nethy before returning through the woods, where several tiny “fairy houses” had been constructed on our visit. Recommended on a rainy day – there’s plenty of shelter, and you can warm up afterwards in the nearby Nethy House Cafe.
