πŸ“Œ Glen Isla, Angus
β˜…β˜…β˜…

Mount Blair is easily picked out from large parts of Angus and Perthshire thanks to its ugly transmitter mast. This aside, however, there are some beautiful views on offer thanks to the hill’s slightly isolated position just apart from the main bulk of the Cairngorms. Duchray Hill and the summits around the Cairnwell Pass are prominent on the ascent, while the summit affords excellent views of the Lowlands – stretching as far as Fife on a clear day. With a high start point and good track underfoot, the effort to returns ratio is a good one.
