📌 Pass of Drumochter, Perth & Kinross
★★★★
Meall na Leitreach (Hill of slopes) lies just east of Loch Garry, accessed from the A9 road on its approach to Drumochter summit. In good conditions this is one of the most straightforward Corbetts, with a high starting altitude and a track almost all the way to the top. Okay, so the flat-topped summit isn’t the most exhilarating spot, but nevertheless offers an expansive panorama – east to the southern Cairngorms and south towards Schiehallion. Perhaps the scenic highlight, however, is the view through the Pass of Drumochter itself, overlooked by the steep prow of the Sow of Atholl.
