π The Trossachs, Stirling

Views to both sides of the Highland Boundary Fault are the reward for the ascent to the summit of this great Forestry and Land Scotland trail towards the Aberfoyle side of Duke’s Pass. You’ll probably have seen a red squirrel or two in the trees on the way up, or from the dedicated wildlife hide near the majestic Little Fawn Waterfall lower down. A Go Ape ropes course threads through the trees nearby, so don’t be alarmed if you spot people flying through the air above. Like much of the Trossachs, this walk shows its best colours in autumn, but there’s plenty to see at any time of year.
