📌 Glen Lyon, Perth & Kinross
★★★

Gorgeous Glen Lyon stretches for well over 20 miles west of Aberfeldy and the Appin of Dull. The four Munros of Càrn Gorm, Meall Garbh, Càrn Mairg and Meall na Aighean are arranged in a horseshoe around the hamlet of Invervar and form an efficient hill-bagging circuit, though restrictions on parking in Invervar and walking during stalking season can make access trickier than usual. Once the initial ascent to the first summit is complete, there’s a lot of straightforward tramping across grass with gentle gradients and good views; the Ben Lawers range looks impressive to the south, while Loch Rannoch and Schiehallion are the highlights of the northern panorama.
