At the heart of the Scottish Highlands, the beautiful River Pattack boasts several waterfalls, some with confusingly similar names. The best known (and most accessible) are Pattack Falls, next to the A86 – but the Falls of Pattack are the most impressive, plunging into a spray-soaked, rocky cauldron further upstream. This straightforward walk visits the latter before continuing past several minor sections of rapids to the Linn of Pattack with its broad, idyllic plunge pool.

⬤ Easy | Most of route follows excellent tracks. ⚠️ First section follows busy A86 for a very short distance – care required. Short final approaches to both falls are on narrower paths – the one to the Linn of Pattack is steep & rough but the waterfall is already in view from the main track.
