Craigluscar is a small and little-known hill a few miles northwest of Dunfermline. Its gorse-speckled southern cliffs – Castle Craigs – are a picturesque sight from the car park, and the summit panorama is even finer, taking in the Firth of Forth with its bridges to the south, Saline Hill and Knock Hill to the north, and the escarpment of the Ochil Hills away to the northwest. The motor racing circuit at Knockhill is also only a few miles away, and well within earshot if a race is taking place! There are several possible path options, but this route visits both the west and east summits for slightly different views before exploring the back of the hill on the return.
