This picturesque waterfall on the River Lochy is hidden away in ancient oak woodland a few miles east of Dalmally. In winter and early spring the surrounding branches perfectly frame the stepped cascade, backed by the Munro lump of Beinn a’ Chleibh, while at the height of summer the view is impeded by leaf growth – so time your visit carefully.

πŸ’¬ From the car park it’s a 5-min walk to the waterfall. Follow the right hand path southwest from the car park, descending to reach a junction. Turn left here (signposted “short route”), then keep right at the next fork to reach the waterfall viewpoint. To vary the return, turn right to continue along the main path, soon climbing left to reach the car park.
