π Village in Argyll & Bute

The area of rolling countryside jutting into Loch Sween is undisturbed even by Knapdale’s own isolated standards. Tayvallich is the “capital” of the Taynish peninsula, idyllically set around a perfect natural harbour with a few essential services and a couple of places to eat. We can recommend the coffee shop on the water’s edge for lunch. An extensive nature reserve lies to the south; if you want to include this in your itinerary, you should allow at least a full day to explore the peninsula properly.
