πŸ› οΈ House closed until late 2025 for major refurbishment (checked April 2024)

For an urban setting, Glasgow has a surprising amount of green space. Pollok Country Park used to be the largest city park in Europe. At the centre is the Edwardian mansion of Pollok House along with its walled garden – as well as the famous Burrell Collection which is covered separately. And the park itself? Well, we’re not quite as enthusiastic – the ponds on the north side are probably the most interesting part.
