πŸ“Œ St Monans, Fife
β˜…β˜…β˜…

The East Neuk of Fife isn’t all about cute fishing villages and old harbours. A couple of miles inland from St Monans, Kellie Castle’s 17th century tower house stands proudly amongst beautiful gardens. Despite the fortress-like exterior, the luxurious furniture and ornamental ceilings inside show how priorities shifted from defence to comfortable living. The grounds include a formal garden and woodland walks, and are well worth exploring even if you don’t fancy paying for a house tour.
