πŸ“Œ Inveresk, East Lothian
β˜…β˜…β˜…

The tranquil oasis of Inveresk Lodge Garden lies close to the east end of the Edinburgh City Bypass on the southern side of Musselburgh. The National Trust for Scotland claim the garden has a warm microclimate, enhancing the riot of colour displayed by the borders and lawns through the summer months; also don’t miss the lower meadow and pond area. The 17th century adjoining house isn’t open to the public, but provides a picturesque backdrop all the same.
