πŸ“Œ Dufftown, Moray
β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…

The world’s most popular single malt – need we say more? The home of famous Glenfiddich (valley of deer) is in Dufftown, Speyside, and the site is an attractive one: stone or whitewashed buildings, pagoda chimneys and a central pond, backed by rolling hills and woodland. For years you could partake in a tour and tasting here for free, but in common with other distilleries there is now a fee; the production areas are impressive and extensive, including around thirty stills and 24 washbacks to fulfil an annual production of well over ten million litres.
