📌 Gallery in Banff, Aberdeenshire
★★

This elegant house on the outskirts of Banff was designed by William Adam for owner William Duff in the early 18th century. Today it’s cared for by Historic Environment Scotland and houses a range of art exhibitions and furniture. The splendid Georgian interior is as magnificent as the artwork itself, and the building is set among pleasant landscaped grounds with interesting walks – including to the nearby Bridge of Alvah.
