๐Ÿ“Œ Cromarty, Highland
โ˜…โ˜…

Cromarty‘s former courthouse is one of a number of interesting buildings on the village’s Church Street. Dating to 1776, it boasts a striking clock tower; after the court closed, the rooms were used as a police station and even by the Royal Navy. And finally of course, a museum – full of exhibits relating to both the courthouse and the surrounding villages. The recreation of a court in session in the main room is the highlight, plus the old jail cells.
