πŸ“Œ Village in Argyll & Bute
β˜…β˜…

With a perfectly-painted high street, single pub, one shop and large marina with beautiful sea views, Craobh Haven feels on some level like the perfect west coast idyll. Almost too perfect, and that’s because the whole place was purpose-built as a holiday resort in the 1980s. Some people rave about the place, but we’re not so keen on the artificial feel – and it’s seemed devoid of life on each of our past visits, even in summer. The village is only a mile from the coast road between Kilmartin and Oban; if you decide to check it out, let me know what you think.
