Camperdown Country Park covers 400 acres of grassland and woodland on the outskirts of Dundee, just beyond the A90 ring road. The main attraction is the family-friendly Camperdown Wildlife Centre (which we cover separately), but there’s also a decent path network linking together open spaces, ponds and nearly 200 different tree species. The imposing Camperdown House dates to 1828 and makes an impressive centrepiece to the park in Greek Revival style – though it’s not open to the public at the time of writing.
