This small waterfall and series of rapids on the River Almond north of Crieff are best known for leaping salmon, especially during late summer and autumn and following heavy rain. We didn’t manage to capture any fishy photos ourselves, but it’s a pretty sight nevertheless, and the autumn leaf colours were an added bonus.
