π Brodick, Isle of Arran

On a warm summer’s day, Brodick‘s local beach is packed with families enjoying the sand, sunshine, ice cream and mini amusement park that often sets up here. But the beach visible from the village itself is only the rather constricted, south part of Brodick Bay; following the smart boardwalk across the mouth of the Glenrosa Water leads to a much more extensive northern stretch, which rarely gets crowded.
