πŸ“Œ Stornoway, Isle of Lewis
β˜…β˜…

An Lanntair (The Beacon) is the major creative hub for the Isle of Lewis and indeed the entire Outer Hebrides archipelago, housed in an eye-catching corner building in Stornoway town centre. The premises celebrated their 20th anniversary in 2025 and comprise a contemporary art gallery, theatre, cinema, concert hall, dance studio, and a space for poetry and literature: in short, offering something for almost every art form. Our pictures on this page are from the 2025 “UΓ‘im an Oir” (Seam of Gold) temporary art exhibition; the venue has long opening hours, enabling visits well into the evening on certain days each week.
