Walk: The secret Lady of Loch Ness

The Falls of Foyers isn’t the only waterfall worth visiting around the perimeter of Loch Ness. Lady Falls (or Culachy Falls) above Fort Augustus is really quite an impressive alternative, but even some locals aren’t aware of it – as we can confirm after chatting to an elderly gentleman in the car park for this route. The cascade takes the form of a frothy cloak, the width of which depends on how much rain has recently fallen; there are also glimpses up scenic Glen Tarff from the approach path, which is well signposted.
