📌 Glenmore, Highland
★★★★

The slender, dammed body of Loch Treig extends south from Glen Spean a few miles east of Roybridge. The two Munros on the west side – Stob a’ Choire Mheadhoin and Stob Coire Easain have a broad, sometime squelchy ridge leading conveniently down to the nearest public road, and there is minimal height loss in between the peaks. From the summits there are excellent views up and down the reservoir (listen out for the occasional train threading its way along the shoreline) with Stob Coire Sgrìodain looming above the opposite bank, as well as a superb outlook towards the scree-girt Grey Corries range.
