๐Ÿ“Œ Viewpoint near Bathgate, West Lothian

Some summits are easier to reach than others… and perhaps The Knock is the easiest of all. Under three miles from the M8 motorway, and barely 100 metres from the car park, the panorama from the view indicator is surprisingly wide reaching with grandstand views of the Forth Bridges, Arthur’s Seat, Pentland Hills, nearby Cairnpapple Hill, the Central Highlands and Ochil Hills. The path to the summit is so short that we’re not classifying this as a walking route and you don’t need to come prepared for one – though high heels probably aren’t ideal for the rocky terrain.
