π Village in Aberdeenshire
β
β
Sandend is a place made up from an unusual cocktail of components: tiny coastal village and harbour, large caravan park and working distillery. The individual parts are spread across a mile or so of coastline, but linked by a gorgeous beach. The village itself has few facilities to speak of, but more than makes up for it in wonderful coastal walks, both east towards Portsoy and west towards Findlater Castle. The perfect destination for a sunny summer day trip?
