📌 Eye Peninsula, Isle of Lewis
★★

Tiumpan Head marks the far eastern tip of the Eye Peninsula. Featuring a (privately owned) Stevenson lighthouse, the headland is a fantastic place to watch the sun rise or set, and is also reputedly one of the best places on Lewis to see whales. Wander along the eastern coastline to take in some pretty, small-scale rocky scenery, with good seal and seabird spotting opportunities too.
