Ayrshire isn’t well known for waterfalls, but Lynn Spout is a gem, and the highlight of this short but beautiful circuit near Dalry. The wooded route explores both banks of the Caaf Water, which has several little cascades and rapids in addition to the main falls. Best views of Lynn Spout are from near the base: a short scramble down off the main path. Wear some grippy shoes and catch it after rain.
