The unique feature of these potentially spectacular cascades on the south side of Loch Tay is the dark passage through a Victorian hermit’s cave required to reach the amphitheatre-like viewpoint. By “potentially” I mean “depending on the weather”, as for all their 80-foot stature, the waterfalls are fed by a rather small burn, and a spell of wet weather is required to see them at their best.
