πŸ“Œ Glen Creran, Argyll & Bute
β˜…β˜…β˜…

Add the F-word to any visitor attraction in Scotland and the tourists will come… we’re talking about “fairy”, by the way. The Fairy Bridge of Glen Creran is a faintly attractive, stone footbridge over a tumbling burn amidst dense woodland halfway between Oban and Glencoe, and has become quite popular in recent years. However, the real highlights on this walk lie elsewhere in the forest, ranging from the impressive Fas na Cloiche tree growing atop an enormous boulder, to several noisy waterfalls, or the excellent views of Beinn Sgulaird (wreathed in cloud on our visit) from the higher parts of the circuit.
