Inveraray, Argyll & Bute
★★★
The stone tower at the top Dùn na Cuaiche overlooks Inveraray and its castle, making up part of the castle’s 60,000-acre estate. The ascent to the summit is fairly straightforward, and tasty during autumn when ripe wild raspberries and blackberries often line the tracks higher up. Oh, and the views of Loch Fyne aren’t bad either.
