Callander Craig lies directly above the bustling tourist town of Callander, with spectacular views of the Trossachs hills, lochs and forests from the top. Combining it with a visit to Bracklinn Falls (best in spate) makes one of the best half day walks in central Scotland, and consider yourself unlucky if you don’t spot a red squirrel or two.

Wildlife: Roe deer, numerous lizards, a jay, woodpecker heard. Red squirrel on a previous visit near Bracklinn Falls.

Interesting bridge architecture, especially for being in a remote setting. Very nice photo!
Thanks Brendan. I agree – I think it definitely adds something to the setting. Apparently it was built in 2010, so it's fairly new.
