Bishop’s Glen Reservoir is a popular local beauty spot for Dunoonites (yes, really!), located a steep climb above Dunoon. Wide and shaded paths make an easy circuit around the water’s edge, with lots of opportunities to spot wildfowl. The Balgaidh Burn is the main feeder stream and has a bridge for a possible shortcut to the return leg; for more variety, continue up the verdant glen with occasional glimpses of (or detours to) waterfalls and rapids.
