Tràigh na Clibhe (cliff beach) is the first of three sandy bays you pass when driving clockwise around the single-track loop north of Miavaig, Lewis. As well as being the most accessible of the three beaches, it’s both larger (at low tide) than Valtos beach and usually quieter than the massive Tràigh na Beirigh. There are good views out towards the cliffs of Rubha Mòr, and if you’re lucky (like us) you might spot an eagle or two soaring above them. Well, we think it was an eagle anyway…
