πŸ“Œ Mangersta, Isle of Lewis
β˜…β˜…β˜…

The crofting township of Mangersta boasts a superb beach, abutted by two dramatic headlands. At low tide the beach swells to a width of 500 metres or so, and the sand stretches inland even further, in curious fashion, towards Loch a’ Ghlomaich. The bay is accessible by a good track from the main coast road or paths from the village itself; join them together for an enjoyable coastal circuit.
