๐Ÿ“Œ Rhue, Highland
โ˜…โ˜…โ˜…

Rhue Lighthouse guards the entrance to Loch Broom for ships bound for Ullapool. Although only a very short walk from the nearest road, the headland is unspoiled and boasts beautiful views both across the loch to Beinn Ghoblach and north to the rill-ridden wall of Ben More Coigach. Sprigs of heather colour the landscape in late summer and rocky platforms are rich in rock pool life (watch out for sea urchins). Sunsets must be stunning if the weather behaves, but this is a worthwhile stop at any time of day.
