πŸ“Œ Kinghorn, Fife
β˜…β˜…β˜…

Pettycur Bay is the westernmost of Kinghorn’s two excellent beaches, with its own little pier and harbour. Separated from the town centre by a maze of residential streets (the suburb is called Pettycur), it has a fairly secluded feel despite being overlooked by a caravan park and the East Coast Main Line. At low tide the sands stretch around the headland to the west, merging with the vast expanse of Burntisland Beach – though the water advances quickly and extreme care should be taken if venturing far from dry land.
