Girvan Beach is the southernmost of Ayrshire’s major beaches, before the coastline becomes much rockier and steeper between here and Stranraer. The sandy strip has excellent views out to Ailsa Craig, and Girvan town centre is a short walk away beyond a small boating pond. Girvan Harbour is at the north end of the beach.
