Fetlar may only have a current population of around 60 residents, but its rich wildlife, complex geology and long history of habitation mean there’s plenty to see in the central visitor centre – which should be on the list for any summer visitor to Shetland’s fourth largest island. Highlights include displays on notable local people, buildings, knitting and folklore, plus a potentially useful Wi-Fi connection!
