πŸ› οΈ Garden closed to the public since 2018 – website suggests this may not be permanent, so I’ve left this page online for now (checked June 2025)

A tranquil walled garden forms the centrepiece of the varied grounds of the Dunskey Estate, a short drive north from picture-postcard Portpatrick village. It’s easy to spend a lazy afternoon here amongst the lily ponds, roses and fruit-filled glasshouses. A door tucked away on the north side gives access to waymarked walks exploring the woodland and lochs, and there’s an excellent hedge maze adjacent to the car park and suspiciously good value bistro.
