๐Ÿ“Œ Drumnadrochit, Highland
โ˜…โ˜…

On oak-clad hillside a mile or two out of Drumnadrochit, the Divach Burn plunges 100 feet into a wooded ravine. A conveniently-placed car park makes this one of the most easily accessible waterfalls in the region, but it certainly isn’t one of the most impressive: views are impeded by trees (particularly in summer) and the flow can slow to a trickle except immediately after heavy rain. We’ve seen some photos suggesting it may be possible to get a better view from below, but there’s certainly no safe access from the main path due to very steep ground. The road up to the car park is extremely steep and features a couple of hairpin bends – cyclists and motorhome drivers beware!
