The tiny Country Surgeon Micro Museum is part of The Hunterian collections, and describes the life of a typical rural doctor – James Bouglas – who was the country doctor for Carluke, Lanarkshire in the 19th century. It could be a contender for the smallest museum in Scotland, being housed in a single glass case shown (in its entirety) in the picture below!
