📌 Edderton, Highland

Clach Biorach (pointed stone) is a 3 metre-high Pictish stone standing in a field just outside the village of Edderton on the Dornoch Firth. Many people will probably first glimpse the stone from the roadside as they travel along the minor road to Balblair Distillery. There’s a nice link here: the two most obvious symbols – a mirror and a Z-road – also feature as the distillery logo. Look a little more carefully and there’s also a fish carving above the mirror.
