πŸ› οΈ No access to castle interior at time of visit in September 2025 due to masonry repairs (again!); exterior still viewable

This ruined castle is found very close to Glenlivet Distillery and could easily be tagged onto the end of a whisky tour. Built in the 1560s by John Gordon, the L-plan tower house functioned as a hunting base for the Earls of Huntly. It still stands three storeys high and benefitted from masonry repairs in 2019, allowing access to the public for the first time in many years.
